Question
How long does junk removal take in the GTA?
A household junk removal job is one visit. Time on site follows the pile and the path to the truck. One item already outside is a short stop. A garage, a basement, or a full load takes longer because of stairs and volume. A condo takes longer when the elevator has to be held. Photos on the quote form set the window before you book, and the visit is not billed by the hour.
Junk 'Of' Urs is a locally owned crew working across the GTA, and the confirmed price does not carry a franchise fee or a markup. You are not billed for how long the crew is there. The confirmed price is the share of the truck, with HST included. Whitby and Oshawa add travel, and that total is confirmed from the photos rather than copied from a flat card. In Toronto, a house with the truck at the curb is the short version. North York towers along Yonge, Sheppard, and Finch wait on a booked elevator, and so do downtown suites. Scarborough houses in Agincourt, Malvern, and Guildwood are usually a driveway carry. East York streets around Pape Village, Cosburn, and Danforth Village add narrow halls and basement stairs. Etobicoke does both: Mimico and Humber Bay condos need the elevator, while The Kingsway, Alderwood, and Rexdale are garage and backyard carries.
Vaughan houses in Woodbridge and Maple, Markham townhomes in Cornell and Unionville, and Richmond Hill piles in Oak Ridges are often a driveway plus a garage or a basement. Condos on Yonge in Richmond Hill and around Vaughan Metropolitan Centre still need the elevator held before the crew can start. Pickering garages in Bay Ridges and Seaton, and unit turnovers in South Ajax, are the same kind of carry. The drive to Whitby or Oshawa is longer than a Toronto stop, but the time at the house is still the pile and the path. Brooklin and North Oshawa driveways are straightforward once the truck arrives, and tighter downtown streets in both cities can mean a short walk from where the truck can stop. Clear a path, mark anything that stays, and say whether someone will meet the crew. The reply names the next open window. It does not lock the pickup to the day the form was sent.
