Question
How much does junk removal cost in Markham?
Household junk removal in Markham is priced by how much of the truck the pile fills, all-in with HST included. A single item is $99, a 1/8 load is $179, a 1/4 load is $299, a 1/2 load is $469, a 3/4 load is $629, a full load is $739, and each extra full load is $650. The minimum is $99.
Junk 'Of' Urs is a locally owned GTA crew, with no franchise fees or franchise markups. Markham work is townhomes in Cornell and Berczy Village, packed basements in Unionville and Markham Village, and garage piles in Box Grove, Angus Glen, and Cathedraltown. Milliken adds rental turnovers. Send photos of the pile, the path, and any visitor parking or stairs. We confirm the price before anything is loaded. Nothing is added for a franchise fee.
A Markham house can set a couch, mattress, box spring, or toilet at the curb on the clear bag garbage collection, every other week. No appointment is needed. The limit is 3 items, set out by 7 a.m. and no earlier than 7 p.m. the night before. A two-piece toilet has to be separated. Carpet has to be rolled and tied, no longer than 1.2 m and no heavier than 18 kg, with a maximum of 8 rolls. The City does not collect renovation material at the curb. Drop-off for that material is the Earl Turcott Waste Management Facility at 300 Rodick Road. Apartments and condominiums follow the property manager, not the house curb. Large appliances are a separate monthly appointment. A full garage, a basement, or a townhouse with stairs is a crew visit: we carry the pile out and load it once.
